Voicemails from 2013

2013 started with us still withholding placement, so most of the voicemails were centered around how The Ex had come to pick up the kids and "didn't know why" Husband wasn't letting her have them.  There was some fun about the Christmas party that The Ex's family was having.  The Ex had talked to Husband and told him that the party was at her sister's house.  On Tuesday, Husband emailed The Ex asking for confirmation about everything.  No answer.  On Wednesday, The Ex's sister sent Husband a text asking if the kids were coming to the party; Husband replied that he had emailed The Ex about it the day before.  Husband then sent The Ex a text that said he had emailed her on Tuesday and to please read his email and reply.   Thursday night, The Ex leaves a voicemail at 6:59pm:      "Hello, it’s [The Ex]! Um, I did get your text message. ( He sent the text 25 hours ago asking her to check her email and reply to it; she still had not...

Attorney 4 is an idiot

I know, I know.  I haven't posted in like, forever.  Sorry about that.  We had court coming up, didn't want to be blogging about what we were/weren't doing because if The Ex is reading this, she knows it's about her and we all know how that goes.  Anyway...   Husband filed a motion last year asking to switch The Ex's visitation to every other weekend; the order had two weekends with her, one with us, repeat.  Son was adamant about getting this changed; he has friends and a "girlfriend" ( As much as one can have a "girlfriend" at Son's age) that he wants to spend more time with.  Daughter said she didn't really care what happened ( She cracks me up.  You could tell her we were going to give everything away and become gypsies; she wouldn't get upset, she'd probably just ask what color her skirt would be. )   The judge referred The Ex and Husband to mediation ( Waste of everyone's time )  The Ex refused to switch weekends,...

Mo' Money, Mo' Problems

For those of you who haven't gone through this entire page yet, I'm going to say this in the nicest way possible:  the thing that matters most to The Ex is money.  I do not mean this in a way that The Ex works very hard for it and acts frugally in order to retain her earnings; I mean this in the way that The Ex will lie, cheat and steal to get what she wants because she wants the best of everything and feels that she deserves it.  The Ex thinks you should give her money and pay her bills; if you ask her to take care of her children, then you're being greedy.  This blog outlines the numerous ways that The Ex wastes her money and then tells her kids that she can't afford to do anything for them.   If you read through the "Disorderly Conduct" blog post, you'll note that The Ex was fighting with Husband over money.  Husband gave her $700 to pay back what he owed to her dad.  The Ex said she wanted Husband to pay 100% of her rent that month; Husban...

Police reports 2011

In mid-2011,  The Ex called 911 from someone else's number; she said there was someone ringing the bell looking for another woman.  The Ex said her husband was yelling with the other person and then closed the door.  This happened at 3am; she had placement of the kids at this time. ~   ~   ~   ~   ~   Two days after this, another report was generated.  Two people called the police around 7pm, saying they had witnessed a man in a dark car hit a mailbox, breaking the mailbox and damaging the side of his vehicle.  The male witness said the passenger side mirror was dangling from the car as it drove away; the male witness wrote down the license plate as he remembered it.   Almost three hours later, Boyfriend called the police to report damage to his vehicle. ( What a coincidence! )  The same officer was dispatched ( Seriously, the exact.  Same.  Officer.  New City has a population of over 60,000.  ...
