She's mad at us again, you won't believe why.

Husband sent a message back on April 30th letting The Ex know that the kids' orthodontist appointments in June would have to be on a week that she has placement; he asked her to let him know what day and time works best for her so that he can schedule it at their appointment this month.  We checked 2houses daily, and each time it showed that The Ex had not logged in since April 18th. ( It's really nice to see that she cares about what's going on in her children's lives. )   Yesterday, Husband took Son in to an oral surgeon for a consultation on wisdom tooth removal.  The doctor said that Son would require IV sedation, which may not be covered by our insurances and would be approximately $350-400 and would be need to be paid on the same date that Son had his teeth removed.  Husband sent The Ex a message letting her know that Son needed oral surgery, said he scheduled it and put it on the calendar, reminded her that she still owes us nearly $300 for the kids' ...

Daddy #3

As noted in an earlier blog post, The Ex refers to Ned as "Dad" when she's speaking to Son and Daughter.  The Ex programmed Ned's contact information into Son's phone as "Dad [Ned]" to try and upset Husband.  The Ex and Ned continue to make references to "their family" or "their kids."   This morning, I've learned that The Ex is now trying to terminate Boyfriend's parental rights.  I speculated that she's going to then try to have Ned adopt her two youngest children.  I wondered why she was rushing through this and now feel very silly for not immediately realizing that if Ned does adopt them, he will be stuck paying child support when The Ex finally leaves him.  However, our state requires that the two of them be married in order for an adoption to take place.  I'm certain that this is how The Ex will convince Ned to marry her - she will say that they're doing it "for their family."   As I stated t...

Happy Easter

The Ex currently owes us nearly $300 for the kids' medical bills but hasn't made any type of payment for almost six months now.  The bills are supposed to be repaid within 30 days of us submitting them to her, yet the oldest bill dates back to December of 2014.  My reason for bringing this up is that The Ex & Ned decided to take a "family vacation" this weekend - without Ned's son - that is costing them probably close to $1,000 once you factor in transportation, food, housing, admission, etc.  So WE pay for the kids' insurance, we pay for OUR half of the balance of the bills after insurance makes their payment, and we end up paying for HER half of the the bills.  We're paying three separate times for this crap, and she's taking the kids on vacation in another state.  Oh, to be a deadbeat parent...   I am also beyond disgusted by Ned's behavior; he & his exwife had a baby who was either stillborn or died the same day it was born; they la...

Mommy Dearest

If I didn't know better, I'd swear that The Ex is starting to turn into Joan Crawford.   Earlier this week, Daughter told me that The Ex had gotten mad at her over the weekend.  Daughter said that earlier in the morning, The Ex had let Daughter and her younger siblings go over to The Ex's parents' house.  At some point, a family friend's daughter was being released from the hospital, so Daughter went with two of her aunts and the family friend to pick up the friend's daughter.  Daughter said that The Ex got angry with her because she had gone to the hospital.  Daughter said that The Ex always says she wants to spend time with the kids but when she and Son are there on the weekends, The Ex spends all of her time with Ned.  I told Daughter I was confused as to why The Ex had gotten upset because even if Daughter had not gone to the hospital, she still would have been at The Ex's parents' house - not at Ned's.   Last night, I found out tha...

She's so weird...

Last week, The Ex and Boyfriend had their final divorce hearing.  The Ex submitted a financial disclosure and a proposed marital settlement agreement. ( I'm not sure of the exact outcome, but it doesn't make sense to me how a judge could do anything other than order that The Ex be awarded 100% of both the assets and the debts.  Boyfriend isn't in the country anymore; there's no way to enforce any judgment against him, and there's no way for him to take possession of any property he may have been awarded. )  The divorce was granted, and her lawyer is responsible for submitting the final paperwork to the court.   At 8:20pm the same night, The Ex uploaded two pictures to Facebook; one close-up of her face with a huge over-the-top smile ( I'm not exaggerating when I say that this picture makes her look exactly like Wallace from "Wallace & Gromit."  If you don't know who that is, Google it.  You'll be glad you did. ) and one of her and Ned....

We'll see how this turns out.

Son has been toying with the idea of playing football again this year.  As a reminder, this is what's happened over the last few years:       2011      Son asked if he could play, Husband told The Ex about it three months before it started both in person and by text.  After talking about playing for six straight months, Son suddenly said he was scared he'd get hurt if he played football ( Husband and I explained that yes, there are risks but it's not guaranteed that you'll get hurt.  After we talked to him, it became very apparent that "someone" had tried scaring Son out of playing football. ).  After we talked with him, Son once again was excited to play.      Practices rolled around, Son said that he had a great time and he loved it; The Ex refused to take Son to practices, claiming she didn't have the money to drive Son back and forth to practices that were on "her time," denied that Husband talked to her about t...

"Selfish" doesn't even scratch the surface.

Allll the way back on January 28th, Daughter came home with a note saying that the state basketball tournament would be on the weekend of March 11th, and that quite a few of the girls from her team were going to attend.  We asked if she also wanted to go, she said yes, we told the parent organizing the ticket purchase & hotel rooms that Daughter would be going. ( This shouldn't have been a problem, as The Ex previously stated that "what...Daughter wants to do is her first and highest priority." )  Husband logged into 2houses, sent The Ex a message about the tournament since it was on her weekend, asked if she wanted to switch weekends or just pick up Son that Friday, and then added the tournament to the calendar.   Again - that was on January 28th .  The tournament was on the weekend of  March 11th .  The Ex was given a full 6 weeks' notice of the schedule change, and she was given the option of switching that weekend so that she could spend ti...
