Why didn't we let her know?!

We check on a daily basis so that we can document that The Ex is not following the court order about communication.  Last night, it was still showing that her last login was on May 29th.  This means she had gone fifteen days without checking if there was anything going on with the kids, if Husband needed anything from her, if there was something to discuss, etc.   Fifteen days.   This morning, Husband magically got an email at 9:37am: "It says here that you deleted [Son' s] wisdom teeth on June 11th. ( Well, that didn't happen because it's physically impossible to delete teeth.  She got both an email and a notification from 2houses three days ago that read, "[Husband] removed the event 'Wisdom tooth removal' for [Son] from the agenda."   Three .   Days .   Ago . )  Is he not having them removed??? ( Yes, he is.  The oral surgeon that we were going to take Son to has a woman working in his office who is illegally billing patie...

Oh boy, I forgot to share this one.

Back on Mother's Day weekend, The Ex was swinging her crazy around like her life depended on it.  Earlier in the day, The Ex called Son and said she had found a cigarette by the TV in the room where he sleeps at Ned's house. ( I hesitate to say "bedroom" because Daughter said that she and Son sleep in the basement at Ned's house; Daughter and her younger sister share a bedroom that Ned constructed, and Son sleeps in the general basement area.  Daughter said that Son does not have any walls where he sleeps; it's just an open area. )  The Ex asked if he was smoking; Son said no.  The Ex said she was upset and hurt, and wanted to know why it was downstairs.  Son repeated that he was not smoking.  The Ex said that they could talk later.  A little while after this, Ned texted Daughter accusing her of "ditching her mom on Mother's Day" and asked what was so important that she couldn't come that weekend.  Daughter asked what he was talking about...

Summer fun is here!

Son was told for at least two years he would need money to buy a vehicle when he turned 16.  Son mentioned a few times that The Ex's dad said he would buy him his first car, so Son spent all of his birthday/Christmas/confirmation money every year.  Suddenly, it was time to drive, he didn't have anything saved and The Ex's dad didn't have any money  or  a car for him.  Son also conveniently got amnesia and claimed he didn't remember saying that there would be a car purchased for him.   A little less than a year and half ago, Son was being told and repeated to me that he didn't need his license and that he didn't have to listen to me because I'm not his biological mother. ( That last part is because I was the one setting everything up...you know, how most moms do. )  Despite this, we got Son enrolled in and took him to his driver's education classes, found a decent car and lent him the money to buy it, and took him to get his license.  Son ...

Her kids are important, but not really.

The Ex did read the most recent message from Husband asking about payment for the medical bills; naturally, she didn't reply with anything.  However, last night she went on Facebook to tell everyone that her son lost his first tooth.  The Ex wrote: "My little man [name] lost his first tooth. I noticed it when I was helping him brush his teeth. I was so upset he didn't even know he had lost it. ( This bothers me, and I don't know why.  It just strikes me as odd.  Like, you didn't know that your kid had a loose tooth?  How did he lose it and not realize?  Why were you upset by this? ) Yup!!! ( ...I don't know what that's supposed to mean. ) Went looking with a flashlight with [Ned's first & last name] help all through the house ( This seems like a lot of work for a tooth that you're going to throw away.  You can't even be bothered to give your oldest kids' school your contact information which would take about 30 seconds, but you'r...

But wait, there's more.

After Husband pointed out that The Ex really doesn't provide any kind of support for Son or Daughter and can thereby afford to take them to just a few appointments every year, she had a lengthy response: "The kids( ' ) placement time is with me at 5:30pm on the Mondays I get them back from you( I don't know why she felt the need to say this; there was never any discussion about exchange time.  We're the ones that always have to remind her of dates, times, locations, etc. )...someone that NEVER let's ( *lets ) me have the kids earlier unless I give up my time, ( If you get the kids earlier, then we give up our time so it's an even trade.  What does this have to do with their orthodontist appointment? ) NOW it's convenient for you...WOW ( ....what in the blue hell is she talking about?! ) AND I DID TAKE THEM 3X LAST YEAR. ( Nobody is disputing that she took them.  Husband said that he took them to 80% of their orthodontist appointments, which by dedu...

She's mad at us again, you won't believe why.

Husband sent a message back on April 30th letting The Ex know that the kids' orthodontist appointments in June would have to be on a week that she has placement; he asked her to let him know what day and time works best for her so that he can schedule it at their appointment this month.  We checked 2houses daily, and each time it showed that The Ex had not logged in since April 18th. ( It's really nice to see that she cares about what's going on in her children's lives. )   Yesterday, Husband took Son in to an oral surgeon for a consultation on wisdom tooth removal.  The doctor said that Son would require IV sedation, which may not be covered by our insurances and would be approximately $350-400 and would be need to be paid on the same date that Son had his teeth removed.  Husband sent The Ex a message letting her know that Son needed oral surgery, said he scheduled it and put it on the calendar, reminded her that she still owes us nearly $300 for the kids' ...

Daddy #3

As noted in an earlier blog post, The Ex refers to Ned as "Dad" when she's speaking to Son and Daughter.  The Ex programmed Ned's contact information into Son's phone as "Dad [Ned]" to try and upset Husband.  The Ex and Ned continue to make references to "their family" or "their kids."   This morning, I've learned that The Ex is now trying to terminate Boyfriend's parental rights.  I speculated that she's going to then try to have Ned adopt her two youngest children.  I wondered why she was rushing through this and now feel very silly for not immediately realizing that if Ned does adopt them, he will be stuck paying child support when The Ex finally leaves him.  However, our state requires that the two of them be married in order for an adoption to take place.  I'm certain that this is how The Ex will convince Ned to marry her - she will say that they're doing it "for their family."   As I stated t...
