Proud mom moment

  This has nothing to do with The Ex, I just want to brag :)

  Son got done with school yesterday and told me he needed to use my computer.  I asked why; he said I could see when he was ready but not to peek.  He tried finding it online, wasn't able to, said it would be in the paper.  I asked what would be in the paper.

  You guys, guess what??





























  Son made honor roll!!!!!!!!!

Just when you thought she couldn't get any worse...

   A couple weeks ago, Girlfriend and Son came down to visit for the weekend.  We had a really good time.  They made a surprise gift for us; they used a poster board and paint to put all the kids' and grandkids' handprints and our last name on it.  I almost cried when they gave it to us, it was so sweet.  We all sat on the couch and held up the gift; I obviously posted it because it makes my heart full.   A week after Son & Girlfriend had visited us, Girlfriend began messaging both me and Daughter.  She sent pictures of text messages on Son's phone.  The Ex had texted Son saying:      Text 1: "Was wondering if you are ever going to stop over to open all your guys gifts? Must be awfully icy in Hell right now.

   Son & Girlfriend recently had a party for Granddaughter's second birthday.  Girlfriend created a Facebook event and invited all of their guests.  The Ex never responded one way or the other; given that Grandson is 3 years old and The Ex has attended his very first birthday party but not the others, I didn't know if she was going to attend or not.   About 2 weeks before the party, The Ex had planned a couples' weekend and invited her best friend, the best friend's boyfriend, and also Daughter and her new boyfriend.  The friend ended up backing out but Daughter and her boyfriend went.  Daughter said she also pre-warned her boyfriend that Ned is extremely awkward, that he had a staring problem, and that he's a terrible driver; her boyfriend later told her that he thought she was kidding about all of it but she was, in fact, warning him about the truth.  Apparently, Ned will just stare right at you and not say a single word; if you look back at...

Voicemails from 2013

  2013 started with us still withholding placement, so most of the voicemails were centered around how The Ex had come to pick up the kids and "didn't know why" Husband wasn't letting her have them.  There was some fun about the Christmas party that The Ex's family was having.  The Ex had talked to Husband and told him that the party was at her sister's house.  On Tuesday, Husband emailed The Ex asking for confirmation about everything.  No answer.  On Wednesday, The Ex's sister sent Husband a text asking if the kids were coming to the party; Husband replied that he had emailed The Ex about it the day before.  Husband then sent The Ex a text that said he had emailed her on Tuesday and to please read his email and reply.   Thursday night, The Ex leaves a voicemail at 6:59pm:      "Hello, it’s [The Ex]!
