Now I ain't sayin' she a gold digger...

  The kids came home last night with a check made out to Husband.  The check is from Ned.  Ned wrote out and signed the check.  After this, The Ex wrote in the note line: "[The Ex's name] medical exspanses"

  Look, I'm not trying to tell someone else how to live their life.  I'm just going to say that it would be a huge red flag for me if I was in a relationship for less than a year, my partner already moved in with their kids, and I was paying their bills for them even though they had a job.

  I could have told you a long time ago that The Ex is only claiming that Son has depression because it draws more attention to her and she thinks it will convince the court to grant her placement.  However, all of her actions prove that she's not actually concerned at all about Son; if he actually had depression, there's no way he'd be better off with her because she doesn't even pay attention to him right now.   A little over a week ago, Husband emailed The Ex saying that Son told us that she is telling him he is depressed and needs to be on medication.  Husband said that Son is not exhibiting any signs of depression and gave specific examples of how/why; he also said that since The Ex had a concern, he would schedule a doctor's appointment for Son and let her know when it is so that she could attend if she would like.   It took The Ex four days to respond. Just when you thought she couldn't get any worse...

   A couple weeks ago, Girlfriend and Son came down to visit for the weekend.  We had a really good time.  They made a surprise gift for us; they used a poster board and paint to put all the kids' and grandkids' handprints and our last name on it.  I almost cried when they gave it to us, it was so sweet.  We all sat on the couch and held up the gift; I obviously posted it because it makes my heart full.   A week after Son & Girlfriend had visited us, Girlfriend began messaging both me and Daughter.  She sent pictures of text messages on Son's phone.  The Ex had texted Son saying:      Text 1: "Was wondering if you are ever going to stop over to open all your guys gifts? My Email Doesn't Work....But Only When You're The One Emailing Me

  In 2009, The Ex gave Husband her email address.  For what, I don't know but she did.  Then placement changed, the kids came to live here, Husband told The Ex he would email her information.  Daughter wanted to be in cheerleading; Husband asked The Ex who agreed to Daughter participating but said she wasn't going to help pay for it.  Within two weeks of this happening, Husband emailed The Ex with info about Daughter's practice and performances ( Exactly thirty-one days after this email was sent, The Ex screamed at Husband that he hadn't discussed this with her )  The same day that Husband sent the email about cheerleading, he also emailed The Ex about a PTA meeting which she chose not to attend ( And then months later, she called the school and said she had "no idea" where the kids had been attending school )   Husband emailed her about the kids' therapy appointments; she never came to a single one of them.
