Husband woke up to this message from Son: "Hey [Husband's first name], just wondering how everythings been going. ( Um...fine. ) How is the dog doing? ( Also fine. ) Just figured i would try starting conversation even though we both know you won't. ( About a month ago, Son drove all the way here to pick up his friend, who also happens to be our neighbor. A few days later, he dropped the kid off. Son never said hi, never told us he was coming, didn't even drive by our house. But now, he's going to "try starting conversation even though he knows Husband won't"?
