Happy Mother's Day...or not

  Back on March 9th, Husband sent a message to The Ex letting her know that Daughter wanted to be in the school play.  The Ex never responded, positively or negatively.  On March 19th, Husband updated the calendar to reflect that the school play would be on May 8th & 9th.   Last night, The Ex sends Husband a message: "[Husband], ( The website clearly indicates at the beginning of the message that it is being sent from The Ex to Husband.  There is no reason to write his name.  I'm beginning to suspect that someone is writing this for her and she is merely copy-and-pasting the text. ) Do you think it's possible that we switch the weekend ( I don't know why but the construction of this sentence bothers me. ) of May 8th; due to [Daughters] class play.   A little while ago, New City began using a system that reports all police activity and puts it on a map.  The public is able to enter their address, select up to a five mile radius, and sign up for daily, weekly, or monthly notifications on crime around their neighborhood.   Yesterday, there was a posting for "warrant service" at an address very, very close to The Ex's home; the service only lists the first two house numbers and the street name instead of the full address.  I laughed out loud and said, "Wouldn't that be something if Boyfriend got arrested again?"   I decided to look into it.  There is a site called "VINE Link" utilized by a majority of the United States.  This site allows you to search for inmates and register for notifications when there is a change in status.  It's a great site for anyone who's been a victim of a crime; it's also handy in situations like this.  I went to the site, typed in Boyfriend's name and f...
