That darn cat.
For those of you who don't remember or are just beginning this blog, The Ex got two cats after she and Husband split up; this was sometime around 2005-2006. She took the cats with her when she relocated from Hometown to New City when she moved in with Boyfriend in 2007. In 2010, Son told us that The Ex was getting rid of the cats because she was spending "way too much money on them every month. ( At that time, she still had her van which had a monthly payment of $582. But she told the kids she was getting rid of the cats because that's an expense she can't afford. ) Shortly after this was announced, The Ex had laser eye surgery which she told Husband cost her $3,700. ( But again, the cats are costing too much money. ) Somewhere along the line, the cats ended up with one of The Ex's cousins.
