Don't forget to update the update and then update me when you do the update.

So after not having logged into 2houses for eleven straight days, The Ex sends a message to Husband with the subject "Pizza money" and said:

"When I picked up [Daughter] on Saturday I paid for [The Ex's brother's] pizza. (The school had a pizza sale fundraiser; The Ex and some of her family bought pizzas.) I paid you $30.  I had thought he ordered pizzas with mushrooms but he didn't. (The Ex filled out his order form.) I shouldn't have paid you $30, it should have been $25. (I just love that she's so aware of the fact that she "overpaid" by an entire five dollars, yet still owes us money from the kids' medical bills from nearly two years ago.)
Please minus $5 from the kids bill that I owe you and update it. (Not "deduct $5 from the bill" or "apply the extra $5 toward the bill" - "minus $5" because we're doing second grade math.) I've made a $30 payment and you sent an update of the balance. (We got two checks from Ned for $30 this year; the last time The Ex made a $30 payment was March of 2015.) Then I sent another $30 payment and you never updated it. (You never sent an update) (....huh?  She just said the same exact thing twice but put it in parentheses the second time.) I sent a $20 payment just recently and you did update that time. (The last message Husband sent was to give her a receipt for an eye exam; he included the total balance as of that date.  I'm assuming this is her way of asking him to give her an updated balance each time she makes a payment.) Please make sure you have all payments updated. (Our Attorney once commented that The Ex can never argue against anything in court because I keep such meticulous records.  Believe me - I have "all payments updated.") Including the $5 (She doesn't pay any child support, doesn't pay for variable expenses, doesn't pay for health insurance - but we need to make sure that her FIVE DOLLARS gets applied to her half of the medical bills.)
Thanks"

Husband replied and said he would apply the $5 toward the kids' medical bills and send her an updated balance sometime today.  Husband said that Ned had made two separate $30 payments at the beginning of this year and that she had made a $20 payment a few weeks ago, and that all of those payments had been deducted from the balance.  Husband asked which payment she thought had not been applied and asked if she had a check number.  The Ex has been on Facebook at least twice since Husband sent his reply; she hasn't even logged into 2houses to read the message.

And just in case anyone was wondering, she used the word "update" six separate times.
