Stupid.

The word "stupid" is described as dictionary.com as "dull", "foolish" or "senseless".  There are other definitions that are more in-depth, but I think everyone here gets the point.

Back in May, Husband logged into 2houses and updated the calendar to reflect Son and Daughter's orthodontist appointments at the end of June.  The Ex had asked for at least three weeks' notice so she could request off of work for whichever date their appointments would be; this gave her six weeks notice.

The day of the appointments, The Ex texted Daughter a screenshot of the appointment on the 2houses site and then texted the word "Stupid" and nothing else.

I told a friend of mine about this and she is utterly perplexed; she kept questioning what exactly was "stupid."  Was it stupid that the kids had an appointment?  Was it stupid that The Ex had to take them?  Was it stupid that Husband put the appointment on the calendar?  None of it makes sense.  This same friend also stated that what really irritated her about the entire situation was the fact that even though Husband and I don't care for or get along with The Ex, we never speak poorly of her to Son or Daughter.

What's even more interesting about this entire thing is that The Ex hasn't even logged into 2houses since June 3rd.  That means that the screenshot she took of the appointment was no less than twenty-four days old.  Yet The Ex took the time to go through her phone, find a screenshot over three weeks old, send it to Daughter, and then state that something/someone is "stupid."

While laughing heartily, I told Husband that it does not matter what he does because it will never be the right thing.  If he does NOT remind The Ex of things, then he is at fault for her not knowing/not attending.  If he DOES remind The Ex, then he/it is "stupid."

This poor, sad woman is never going to stop being bitter.
