Awww, snap.
This is The Ex's weekend; Son wanted to hang out with his friends tonight so he messaged her. I don't know if I'm just finding it more funny than it is, but I can't stop laughing at this conversation.
Thursday
11:44am - Son: Can I go to a cabin this weekend just for Friday night?
12:17pm - The Ex: As long as u have a ride there and back to mom's on Saturday
12:20pm - Son: How about I go with them there and you come pick me up?
Or could I use one of the cars?
12:28pm - The Ex: No to cars. We both work (Quite ironic that she's going to work on her placement weekend, yet she literally just told the mediator that she wants the kids back on Sundays during the summer because Husband is working on Mondays now.)
Go with them. I'll come get you at 9am
12:45pm - Son: Okay
1:00pm - The Ex: Need complete address. Including city, state, and zip code (Where on earth does she think he's going that she is requesting he send her the state that the cabin is in?)
1:36pm - Son: Okay
8:13pm [Cabin street address] (Oh no, he didn't send the city, state, or zip code! How on earth will she ever know what to do?!)
10:26pm - The Ex: Ok. Where
Friday
7:02am - Son: Like 25 ish min from your place (It's not "25 ish minutes." It's 43 minutes, one way. Son wanted to go to this cabin about 2 months ago and nobody wanted to take him; Son had a fit. You can read about it here)
7:19am - The Ex: City???? (Oh boy, now he pissed her off.)
7:21am - Son: In the country. (*snicker*) You should be able to find it with all of that honestly (BAHAHAHAHAHA.)
7:21am - The Ex: Wasn't I like 45-50 minutes (Okay, so she completely remembers the conversation from 2 months ago but is still going to pretend she doesn't know what's going on.)
7:22am - Son: Idk that s it tho
Like I said, it's probably really not that funny but I can't stop laughing about it. If she would have just typed in the address, the city would have shown up; it's not something common like "Main Street" that could easily be confused with another home. It's honestly so refreshing to see someone other than us pointing out how simple everything could be, yet The Ex complicates her and everyone else's entire lives for no reason.
