Nothing is happening.

  Ned and his ex-wife have been arguing, which isn't necessarily new.  Last month she filed a motion to modify child support.  They scheduled a hearing and her motion was denied.  This week, she sent a letter to the court, the court replied, and now Ned has sent a letter to the court.  I don't know when, but at some point I'm taking a vacation day for the sole purpose of driving to the courthouse in Tiny City and reading all of these court records - Ned's divorce, The Ex's divorce from Boyfriend, the restraining order Ned's exwife filed against him, etc.   Next month might be a bit more interesting for us.  Last fall, The Ex filed a motion asking that Son be placed with her for his final year of high school; the court referred Husband and The Ex to mediation. ( I blogged about it here and here . )  Since they agreed to hold open mediation for six months, the mediator should be calling both of them in the next 2-3 weeks.  Unfortunately for ...

Movies: fun for the whole family except when they're not.

  Tiny City has free weekly movies that are sponsored by the library.  The Ex was once telling Son that she wished she had them during the week so they could go and do something without spending money.  I don't remember exactly how it was worded, but I do remember that she complained about the "free G** d**n movies" that she couldn't take Son or Daughter to see. ( Such a caring, loving way to speak to your child. ) ~   ~   ~   ~   ~   I blogged the other day and had written that Daughter told me that Ned, The Ex, and her two youngest kids had gone to see a movie while The Ex's sister babysat for Ned's son.  Daughter said that Ned didn't want Lucifer to go because the movie they were seeing was "too violent"; they don't allow Lucifer to watch action movies because of him making comments that he's going to kill Ned.   Regardless of whether it was The Ex's or Ned's decision to leave Lucifer behind, I think this is completely...
