Nothing is happening.

Ned and his ex-wife have been arguing, which isn't necessarily new.  Last month she filed a motion to modify child support.  They scheduled a hearing and her motion was denied.  This week, she sent a letter to the court, the court replied, and now Ned has sent a letter to the court.  I don't know when, but at some point I'm taking a vacation day for the sole purpose of driving to the courthouse in Tiny City and reading all of these court records - Ned's divorce, The Ex's divorce from Boyfriend, the restraining order Ned's exwife filed against him, etc.

Next month might be a bit more interesting for us.  Last fall, The Ex filed a motion asking that Son be placed with her for his final year of high school; the court referred Husband and The Ex to mediation. (I blogged about it here and here.)  Since they agreed to hold open mediation for six months, the mediator should be calling both of them in the next 2-3 weeks.  Unfortunately for The Ex, her motion was for absolutely nothing else other than Son living with her his senior year.  Husband is simply going to say that he doesn't agree to that as Son will be graduating at the end of May, and he will not discuss anything that was not included in her motion.  If The Ex would like to file a new motion regarding Husband's summer placement, she is more than welcome to do so - which will result in Husband filing a counter-motion asking that The Ex be found in contempt of court for the second time for her refusal to follow the court order in various ways.

The Ex hasn't logged into 2houses for over two full months, which means she's ignoring all of the emails that she gets indicating that Husband has messaged her.  She also has not made a payment toward her half of the kids' medical bills in almost 18 months and owes us nearly $400, but Daughter told me yesterday that The Ex bought new furniture and one of the items is a chair with a massager built into it.  Since the last time she made a payment to Husband, things she's spent her money on include: a trip for her and Ned to go "waterfalling" for a week; a trip out-of-state over Easter weekend with Ned, herself, and her four kids that cost a minimum of one thousand dollars; another trip for her and Ned to go out-of-state by themselves for an entire week; a new puppy; a vehicle that cost them over twenty thousand dollars; new furniture.

But then she wants Husband to buy presents for her family Christmas because she "doesn't have a lot of money."
