Let's see what happens.

Son had been telling people that court was going to be on Friday, October 6th, (I have no idea where he got that idea from.) and that he was going to go to court and tell them he wanted to live with The Ex. (This was said when he was upset about Nice Girl.)

Then Son told a few people, including Nice Girl, that he didn't know what he wanted to do anymore but he couldn't tell The Ex that he didn't want to live with her because it would "break her heart." (Okay, so this has nothing to do with what Son wants; it's all about what The Ex wants Son to do.  Her manipulation disgusts me.)

Then on Sunday evening, The Ex left her rambling message saying she wanted to talk to Husband and was hoping they could have saved money on mediation fees, but they were going to have to pay money because he's acting like a child. (She filed a motion with the court, the court ordered mediation, and somehow it's all Husband's fault they have to pay for it.)  Husband emailed her Sunday and said if she wanted to save money on mediation fees, she would have to call the court and say she wanted to cancel the session; The Ex hasn't logged into 2houses since Friday.

Now today, one of Son's friends sent him a message asking if he was still in School City or if he had gone with The Ex.  Son replied that he had talked to her; he's going to finish the school year here and then move. (See how easy that was?)

So with all of this information, I contacted the mediator and told her that The Ex was saying she wanted to save money by not going to mediation, Son was saying he was going to finish the school year here which was the entire reason The Ex filed the motion which led to mediation getting scheduled, The Ex was not reading Husband's emails so perhaps they could reach out to her and see what they could figure out.  The mediator said she would call The Ex and ask if she wanted to withdraw her motion, and would call me back to let me know what came of it.

  And now we wait.
