"ALSO"

  Last night, Husband got a text from The Ex at 5:37pm.  She just refuses to use 2houses, I'm assuming because she knows I have access to it and wants to pretend that I don't exist.  Anyway...

"I forgot to tell you that I cannot take the kids to [city name] that week. (This is regarding a message that Husband sent to her on 2houses about the kids needing to go in for a follow-up orthodontist exam next week; he emailed her on June 18th.  She read it on June 25th.  She's texting him about it on July 11th.) I am only off every other Thursday at noon. (Why the hell would I care about that?) Unfortunately on my Thursdays he's only taking new patients. Unless you can take them the week of the 22nd that you have them(Son hasn't been to our house since he graduated on June 1st.  Since when is he coming here?), they will go on Monday, August 6th. (Fine, whatever.  It's just a retainer check.)

ALSO, (I don't understand the CAPS lock use here, but whatever.) [Daughter] has told me that your (*you're) camping this weekend(Daughter only "told her" because Daughter wants to go with us.  But God forbid that The Ex actually put that into writing.)...if you would like her to join you we could switch weekends on August 17th. (Nope.  We would literally not see Daughter for one single weekend of August, absolutely not.  Not to mention that a few months ago we let Son go to Tiny City on our weekend because The Ex is a dumbass and was planning to pick up the kids on our weekend, so we just let him go anyway.) Please let either I or [Daughter] know.

  Husband went on 2houses, sent an email saying that he got her text, Daughter wants to go with us, he told Daughter it's up to The Ex, if The Ex lets Daughter go then Husband will be picking her up and dropping her off, and to let him know.  I'm sorry, but we're not going to provide transportation AND give up our only placement weekend in August.  As it stands right now, we only have Daughter for seven days in August and three of those, we have to work.  Daughter wants to be here more often and The Ex keeps fighting her on it.  Honestly, her selfishness is just depressing at this point...

If it walks like a duck....

  I could have told you a long time ago that The Ex is only claiming that Son has depression because it draws more attention to her and she thinks it will convince the court to grant her placement.  However, all of her actions prove that she's not actually concerned at all about Son; if he actually had depression, there's no way he'd be better off with her because she doesn't even pay attention to him right now.   A little over a week ago, Husband emailed The Ex saying that Son told us that she is telling him he is depressed and needs to be on medication.  Husband said that Son is not exhibiting any signs of depression and gave specific examples of how/why; he also said that since The Ex had a concern, he would schedule a doctor's appointment for Son and let her know when it is so that she could attend if she would like.   It took The Ex four days to respond. Voicemails from 2012

  Sometime in mid-January:      “It’s [The Ex], I just wanted to talk to the kids. Can you please have them call me? Thanks.”   An hour and forty-nine minutes later:      “Hey [Husband], it’s [The Ex]. I called about two hours ago, if not a little more, to talk to the kids. Um, still waiting for you to have them call me back. Bye.” ( It was Family Night.  We didn't have our phones and she knew this. )   Early February:      “Hey [Husband], it’s [The Ex]. Wanted to talk to the kids, if you can have them return my call. Um...I know you say 5 o’clock is the best time to call so...I was hoping to catch ‘em. Have ‘em give me a call. Bye.”  ( Husband never said this.  Our schedule had been the same since 2009; the kids and I didn't get home until around 5:30pm.  The Ex even left a voicemail in 2010 saying that Husband had told her the kids get home at 5:30pm.  But now magically, Husband...

Must be awfully icy in Hell right now.

   Son & Girlfriend recently had a party for Granddaughter's second birthday.  Girlfriend created a Facebook event and invited all of their guests.  The Ex never responded one way or the other; given that Grandson is 3 years old and The Ex has attended his very first birthday party but not the others, I didn't know if she was going to attend or not.   About 2 weeks before the party, The Ex had planned a couples' weekend and invited her best friend, the best friend's boyfriend, and also Daughter and her new boyfriend.  The friend ended up backing out but Daughter and her boyfriend went.  Daughter said she also pre-warned her boyfriend that Ned is extremely awkward, that he had a staring problem, and that he's a terrible driver; her boyfriend later told her that he thought she was kidding about all of it but she was, in fact, warning him about the truth.  Apparently, Ned will just stare right at you and not say a single word; if you look back at...
