What even...

  Daughter is friends with this guy who's a few years older than she is.  Somehow, The Ex got this guy's phone number and has been texting him; he hasn't answered her so The Ex wanted Daughter to ask him for an explanation as to why she was being ignored.  This is what The Ex has sent to him so far:

March 6
8:49pm  - TELL [DAUGHTER] HER NAILS LOOK LIKE SHIT!!!🤮(This was because Daughter had acrylic nails on, which The Ex repeatedly told her "look gross.")

March 22
4:02pm - Hi [name]
4:02pm - R u awake
4:03pm - We need to talk
4:03pm - SERIOUSLY
4:05pm - [First and last name]. How much do you like my daughter?
4:06pm - I know [Daughter] told u not to answer... but we should talk

April 7
9:22pm - Good Evening Sir!!!!
9:23pm - Why are you not replying to my messages from days ago...🤔
9:23pm - My daughter is very upset
9:23pm - She hates me
9:24pm - When you don't reply she cries
9:25pm - Her nails now look so beautiful, don't they???
9:26pm - Those fake nails looked really bad on bad on her 🤢🤮
9:26pm - She told me she didn't want me to text you
9:27pm - It's very rude not to reply back to mommy

  I don't understand this woman.  Not at all.  It's like she's trying so incredibly hard to be Daughter's best friend but then makes repeated negative comments about her appearance.  Daughter has said before that she doesn't call me "Mom" because she feels like I'm more her sister than her mother; that being said, I would never talk to her friend/crush/boyfriend like this.

  On an alternative note, I really hope that this kid doesn't think that I'm the one who's messaging him.  School City has a relatively small population and the majority of people here think that I'm Son and Daughter's mom because The Ex is never around.  They only realize that Son and Daughter are not my biological kids when The Ex shows up for something like Parents' Night and people start asking who the woman is that they're talking to.

  I don't know if she's just plain stupid, on drugs, or both...

    She is so desperate for some kind of attention that she's texting individuals old enough to be her children. This is so disgusting. In the last message timed 9:27pm, she refers to herself as his "mommy." If I were his mother, I would contact law enforcement. This is harassment at the very LEAST. Wowwwwwwwwww..

      I've never understood why she refers to herself in the third person. It's so weird to me. But thank you for validating that I'm not overreacting and reading more into this! I think it's incredibly inappropriate.

  I could have told you a long time ago that The Ex is only claiming that Son has depression because it draws more attention to her and she thinks it will convince the court to grant her placement.  However, all of her actions prove that she's not actually concerned at all about Son; if he actually had depression, there's no way he'd be better off with her because she doesn't even pay attention to him right now.   A little over a week ago, Husband emailed The Ex saying that Son told us that she is telling him he is depressed and needs to be on medication.  Husband said that Son is not exhibiting any signs of depression and gave specific examples of how/why; he also said that since The Ex had a concern, he would schedule a doctor's appointment for Son and let her know when it is so that she could attend if she would like.   It took The Ex four days to respond.   Sometime in mid-January:      “It’s [The Ex], I just wanted to talk to the kids. Can you please have them call me? Thanks.”   An hour and forty-nine minutes later:      “Hey [Husband], it’s [The Ex]. I called about two hours ago, if not a little more, to talk to the kids. Um, still waiting for you to have them call me back. Bye.” ( It was Family Night.  We didn't have our phones and she knew this. )   Early February:      “Hey [Husband], it’s [The Ex]. Wanted to talk to the kids, if you can have them return my call. Um...I know you say 5 o’clock is the best time to call so...I was hoping to catch ‘em. Have ‘em give me a call. Must be awfully icy in Hell right now.

   Son & Girlfriend recently had a party for Granddaughter's second birthday.  Girlfriend created a Facebook event and invited all of their guests.  The Ex never responded one way or the other; given that Grandson is 3 years old and The Ex has attended his very first birthday party but not the others, I didn't know if she was going to attend or not.   About 2 weeks before the party, The Ex had planned a couples' weekend and invited her best friend, the best friend's boyfriend, and also Daughter and her new boyfriend.  The friend ended up backing out but Daughter and her boyfriend went.  Daughter said she also pre-warned her boyfriend that Ned is extremely awkward, that he had a staring problem, and that he's a terrible driver; her boyfriend later told her that he thought she was kidding about all of it but she was, in fact, warning him about the truth.  Apparently, Ned will just stare right at you and not say a single word; if you look back at...
