Told you.

  Remember when I wrote this in July?  Okay, I forgot to mention that prior to anyone's birthday, she uploaded three pictures of all of her kids and wrote how she took them to a movie for an early birthday present to Son, Daughter, and her daughter.  About two weeks later, she uploaded four pictures of herself, her daughter, Ned, Son and Daughter horseback riding, which was Daughter and her sister's birthday gift from Ned and The Ex.  The Ex's son just had his birthday party this weekend and exactly as I predicted, she made a big deal about it.  So let's recap how this year went:

Son's birthday - no acknowledgement on his birthday, was taken to a movie with the rest of the kids, went horseback riding for his sisters' birthday present (He told us it wasn't very fun because his horse was either old or sick).
Daughter's birthday - no acknowledgement on her birthday, was taken to a movie with the rest of the kids, went horseback riding for her and her sister's birthday present.
The Ex's daughter - two Facebook memory posts, two status posts, nine photos and one video, was taken to a movie with the rest of the kids, received gifts to open, went bowling and horseback riding for her birthday.
The Ex's son - went to a movie for everyone else's birthday earlier in the year, received gifts to open, twenty-six pictures uploaded to Facebook, six status posts, 112 words about him and the party, and tagged nineteen people.

  Saaaame woman who repeatedly tells Husband that he treats Son & Daughter differently than he treats his youngest two children, or how he doesn't have any consideration for Son or Daughter and only thinks about the other two kids.

  By the way, Ned's son had his birthday months ago.  The Ex didn't say anything about that, either.

If it walks like a duck....

  I could have told you a long time ago that The Ex is only claiming that Son has depression because it draws more attention to her and she thinks it will convince the court to grant her placement.  However, all of her actions prove that she's not actually concerned at all about Son; if he actually had depression, there's no way he'd be better off with her because she doesn't even pay attention to him right now.   A little over a week ago, Husband emailed The Ex saying that Son told us that she is telling him he is depressed and needs to be on medication.  Husband said that Son is not exhibiting any signs of depression and gave specific examples of how/why; he also said that since The Ex had a concern, he would schedule a doctor's appointment for Son and let her know when it is so that she could attend if she would like.   It took The Ex four days to respond. Voicemails from 2012

  Sometime in mid-January:      “It’s [The Ex], I just wanted to talk to the kids. Can you please have them call me? Thanks.”   An hour and forty-nine minutes later:      “Hey [Husband], it’s [The Ex]. I called about two hours ago, if not a little more, to talk to the kids. Um, still waiting for you to have them call me back. Bye.” ( It was Family Night.  We didn't have our phones and she knew this. )   Early February:      “Hey [Husband], it’s [The Ex]. Wanted to talk to the kids, if you can have them return my call. Um...I know you say 5 o’clock is the best time to call so...I was hoping to catch ‘em. Have ‘em give me a call. Bye.”  ( Husband never said this.  Our schedule had been the same since 2009; the kids and I didn't get home until around 5:30pm.  The Ex even left a voicemail in 2010 saying that Husband had told her the kids get home at 5:30pm.  But now magically, Husband...

Must be awfully icy in Hell right now.

   Son & Girlfriend recently had a party for Granddaughter's second birthday.  Girlfriend created a Facebook event and invited all of their guests.  The Ex never responded one way or the other; given that Grandson is 3 years old and The Ex has attended his very first birthday party but not the others, I didn't know if she was going to attend or not.   About 2 weeks before the party, The Ex had planned a couples' weekend and invited her best friend, the best friend's boyfriend, and also Daughter and her new boyfriend.  The friend ended up backing out but Daughter and her boyfriend went.  Daughter said she also pre-warned her boyfriend that Ned is extremely awkward, that he had a staring problem, and that he's a terrible driver; her boyfriend later told her that he thought she was kidding about all of it but she was, in fact, warning him about the truth.  Apparently, Ned will just stare right at you and not say a single word; if you look back at...
