Taste of his own medicine.
Not even two weeks ago, Husband and I confronted Son about his lying. (This was when we took away all of his bonus things, like a phone and a car and a TV.) Instead of being mature and owning up to what he had done, Son literally looked Husband directly in the eye and lied about lying; he must have thought we didn't know the truth and if he kept lying, he'd weasel his way out of it. We actually saw the flash in his eye when he realized he was caught and there was no getting out of it.
As that's been explained, Husband and I couldn't stop giggling to ourselves last night because Son posted this to Facebook:
"Now I know what it feels like when people lie straight to your face"
Maybe I shouldn't laugh...but I just can't help it 😂
